About
Dear reader,
Festivin is a botanical journal about the moment just before the guests arrive. About the linen that falls off the edge of the table, the brass candelabra that catches light you didn't know was there, the three small posies that read better than one oversized centerpiece.
We write about garden parties and outdoor weddings, about the craft of tying a hand-tied bouquet, about the flower festivals worth flying for, and about the small botanical objects that make a room feel like something happened there.
Who writes here
Nora Fielding is a former florist and event stylist. She hosts long-table dinners in her English garden and documents the flower festivals she travels to every spring. She is bad at listicles, worse at affiliate spam, and spends more time than she should choosing between two shades of linen.
What we publish
Six drawers of work: The Garden Table for tablescapes and outdoor entertaining; Floral Craft for arrangements and how-to; The Wedding Garden for outdoor ceremonies; Festival Passport for flower-festival travel; Botanical Home for vines and dried florals; and The Almanac for seasonal celebrations.
A promise, quietly
Every essay on festivin.com is written by hand, minimum 1,200 words, grounded in real flowers, real festivals, real dinners. No AI slop, no rented Pinterest boards. If it is on Festivin, someone stood at the table and tied the ribbon themselves.
